JUNO and 9 x CCMA Award-winning country band, The Washboard Union, released their new single, “Drink Em Up” on March 15, via Universal Music Canada.
The track is celebratory and upbeat with an infectious energy, and celebrates living for every moment and not wasting a single second of this life. "Put a couple million memories in your cup and Drink Em Up" is the chorus lyric that perfectly describes that feeling.
“Drink Em Up” is the fifth track of new material, from The Washboard Union from their forthcoming album, due later this year. It follows the band’s recent release "Neon Needs The Night" with a slower, classic 90s country vibe, and the band’s hit radio tracks “I Run on Country”, which hit #13 at Canadian country radio and “Gather Round”, which went Top 40 at radio.
The Washboard Union, composed of step-brothers Aaron Grain, Chris Duncombe and their best friend David John Roberts, have carved their place as one of Canada’s top country bands.
Some of the band's many successes include over 81 million streams, 380,000 radio spins, one Platinum and four Gold-certified singles in Canada, nine Top 10 hits, and an awe-inspiring 35+ total award wins including JUNO and CCMA Awards.
With more new music coming soon, and tour dates to be announced across the country, The Washboard Union is poised for an incredible 2024.
